Michelle Peterson,
a Colorado native, has always been an artist at heart. At age four, she started
oil painting every day after school. Since that time, her love for art has
developed to include numerous mediums.
For many years, painting and jewelry making were Michelle's main focus. Several years ago, she was introduced to fused glass and metal and has since incorporated that into her artistic repertoire.
Michelle now works mainly in fused glass and acrylic painting. Her work incorporates bright, bold colors and patterns which represent her spontaneous
and joyous nature. Her work inspires people to bring color and joy to their personal spaces. In her own words , “My work is simply a visual expression using color in glass and paint to reflect a joyful mind and spirit.”
Michelle’s work has been purchased by collectors and corporations worldwide.
She has recently begun to expand her work into architectural formats in both commercial and residential spaces. While currently she exhibits her work mainly in Colorado, Michelle plans to extend her work into more galleries this year.
